Each year in semester 2 a number of College Societies balls take place. They are the highlight of the year for many students and a great time is always had.
The price for CIT Societies balls is €22 for the full and €11 for the afters. The full ticket commences from 8pm where the guests are treated to a sit down dinner which can be up to 5 courses, what a feast!. The afters ticket only alows entry to the hotel from 10pm when the evenings main entertainment and DJ commences. Complimentary buses from the Tourism & Hospitality Building on the Bishopstown campus depart at 7.15pm for the full and 9.15pm for the afters. Buses return from the hotel to Bishopstown from 1.30am on.
